I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and have had a rough journey. My still me story may be a little different than most! I am a huge car enthusiast. I drive a pink Subaru WRX and ride a pink Kawasaki ZX6R. I have built them around a Barbie theme as I’ve loved pink my entire life and makes the kids so happy anywhere I go. Seeing the smile on little girls faces saying they want this car one day puts a smile on my face. Being a woman in a male dominated world had its challenges from the beginning but gave me more motivation than ever. I will be 28 shortly after birth and have been very into cars since about 15. I’ve spent the last few years working on my build inside and out and still have more to do! A WRX is one of my dream cars and I’m proud of how far I’ve come. Being able to share it with others and inspire kids and adults means the world to me.
“Still me” has been me still going outside into the world going to small car meets and major car shows to display my car and let little kids take pictures inside my pink racing seats or outside, or even just small stores around the house. First becoming pregnant, I wanted to stay cooped inside but had to remember who I was. This is extremely peaceful to me and many here may not understand the car world. But I am happy to be having a little girl and having her grow up around cars and showing her everything I love and that girls can do it too!
