Any mama’s out there also plant mamas? I used to be such a good plant lady and ever since I had my babies I feel like I neglect them so much every couple months I have another casualty (lost plant). Trying to figure out ways to be a mom to both!!
That’s me in a nutshell!! I even had a few casualties!(plants, not babies!!) I’m finally starting to get back into gardening myself. I did manage to keep my more exotic plants alive through everything! I’m really proud of my Venus fly traps, pitcher plants, and orchids. I enjoy propagating my plants. I even have a few luffa plants growing in the back yard. Im so excited to grow some sponges!
Same my poor plants have been on the back burner
I give you props it’s hard to keep plants alive. The only one I’ve been able to keep alive is my Aloe vera plant and that’s probably because my husband waters it. We have fruit plants and trees but they are on schedule watering system. Otherwise they would not make it
Oh my goodness. I love this so much! And seriously, wow. I’m so happy you a still have a big plant family ![]()
I think do them and then just forget again; they are soo thirsty!
I Need a schedule water system!! What kind of fruit plants do you have?
Wow this is incredible ![]()
I’m a garden mama it’s sort of similar right hahahaa
I love your plant collection my partner takes care of our house plants he’s got quite a green thumb and then I tend to our garden because for some reason house plants hate me ![]()
I had to put one of mine outside the other day because the miracle grow potting mix had gnats all in it they were in the soil and hatched and they were everywhere in the house and I couldn’t figure out where they were coming from. My mom replanted part of a snake plant for me that was my grandmothers who just passed a few months ago and after it was here for a few months they hatched. I went to get a new bag of it in our shop and when I opened it the same thing happened. Two other people said it happened to them too. They finally disappeared when the soil dried out and I put it under the carport and it is thriving I don’t know how because I kinda forgot about it ![]()
I would definitely recommend an auto water. I got one off of Amazon. It makes outside gardening easier. I have an apple an plum tree. This is the first year the apples are sprouting tho.
An apple tree is so cool!! And I’m def going to look into that. This year we only have tomatoes outside but I’m already not doing well with them!
Oh my goodness! I can t believe that happened. What a headache for you!!!
I should maybe put my husband on duty, maybe I’ll have him do watering every Sunday. That might actually help this situation!!
Thanks! I’m totally digging your plant shelves by the way! I need a better solution for all my vining plants. I’ve just been running them along the wall, and I’m running out of room.
I got this really cool garden planner off Amazon. For those of you into plants, this thing is so awesome! It helps me plan my entire garden. I love that I can dedicate a full page to each plant with all the care info. There’s even pouches in the back to store all my seed packs!
Thank you!![]()
I tried tomatoes. They need up splitting from the rain. We do raspberry, blueberry, suckleberry, strawberries. Potatoes, peas, lettuce, carrots and I’m trying cilantro this year.
Thank you!!! My husband made it for me during Covid!
Oh my goodness!! I love this
