Hey moms I guess I got a story for yall tonight 
So today we went to Texas Roadhouse! We had a great time ! Food was amazing ! And it was just perfect! The server started out really nice he seemed to do his job well ! 
Anyways I forgot to say we did get there a bit late we didn’t know ther closed at 11 
but we got there like at 10:20 
I felt bad because he did tell us when he asked us what we wanted that they were about to close so we kinda already felt like we were rushed /: but anyways we got our food quick! Like I said food was AMAZING ! No problem with the food at all! But anyways… I paid before we were done eating through the little kiosk thing at the table and then the server had seen the kiosk and said “since you already paid would you like some boxes” and I said "yes please and thank you " … Mind you I was very nice I swear I had a good attitude towards him and all ! So as we are packing up our food and putting it in the stroller and getting the boys ready and cleaned up to go the server VERY RUDELY COMES AND SAYS “did you at least leave some cash on the table?” In the RUDEST TONE EVER and I didn’t realize what he was asking but pretty much he was asking IF WE LEFT A TIP 
I kindly said “uh no” but again I didn’t fully comprehend what he meant anyways he goes on talk smack !!! Saying "wooowww served you late… "… and he’s cussing up a storm SUPER RUDE I was in shock !! Mind you I WAS GOING TO TELL MY HUSBAND TO BREAK A 20 so we could leave him a $10 tip BEFORE WE LEFT but he came and said that !!! Super rude and I was definitely not going to leave a tip after that !!! I know we got there late and I apologized to them and let them know as well that we didn’t know what time the restaurant usually closes . But I don’t know what do you think moms was I wrong what should we have done ??? was he wrong were we wrong should I have spoken up or said something??? I’m lost and I feel bad he made me kinda cry with how rude he was all and all we did have fun and had a good meal 
The server never should have asked about a tip! I mean I get that people have bad days, but that is so unprofessional of him. I would’ve complained to the manager. That is so messed up! You did nothing wrong. I’m sorry to hear you had such a bad experience!

As someone who was a server for years, I get the frustration but I also don’t get how you can jump to conclusions so fast and even then you don’t confront people . Tips are optional always, must of had a bad day but that’s no excuse either way sounds like they ended up punishing themselves because they lost out on that tip though. That’s their karma right there.
I’m sorry servers make most of their money via tips and it doesn’t sound like they were doing well in that department so you ended up being to one they took it out on and then you can kinda see right there that’s probably why they were lacking in that department to begin with. Not your fault at all
Oh my gosh! That is just horrible. Horrible management hiring horrible employees. I wouldn’t be going back there again. That sucks!
I felt really bad I kind of cried in the car because I’ve honestly been so sensitive with my postpartum and my hubby felt so bad cause he really didn’t even hear what was going on since he was focused on the boys and he was saying like he felt dumb cause he didn’t hear and if he did he would have said something cause it was wrong how the guy talked to me but you know what I hope they did at least give him a warning
The food is good though like I hate that this happened
Omg I am so sorry this happen to you, but the server should have never asked if you had left some cash in there or not he missed the tip for asking I would have done the samething left with out leaving any tip and also I would have asked to talk to a manager
I hope so too! Either way a server is supposed to be a light and the most important part of your dining experience. They are the face of that restaurant so it directly affects the business if they are rude.
I honestly felt like a Karen doing it but he was so rude and wrong for that!
I totally understand but the server was the one that acted like a Karen I mean its a TIP is a gratitude to the service and I am quite sure that you were going to leave but the server honestly acted so wrong
