# The first 3 weeks

With my 3rd breastfeeding started out so rough. I thought I would have it figured out by the time the third one rolled around. But her latch on my left side was so painful. I would tense up every time. I wanted to only nurse on my right because it felt better. I went and seen a lactation consultant and that didn’t help. But I kept going. I wanted to give up so many times. So many times I questioned if it was worth it. Then one day the pain was gone.. sometimes you have to power through. Sometimes you have to wait for your baby to learn and their little mouth to grow a little. Sometimes you have to let your nipples heal. Silver cups, and nipple butter were my best friends in those few weeks!

Yes! The first few weeks were brutal until I got use to it! Silver nipple cups were a life saver!

I have never used these, but I’m glad to see that they are helpful for moms. 😊

I’ve always been curious about the silverettes. I’ve never purchased them, but I’m thinking this might be a good option for those dreadful early days!

I finally got some for my 3rd! And so happy I did! I didn’t need them for my first two tho.
