I wish I knew I didn’t need to buy everything. I definitely got caught up thinking I needed every baby item I saw online. Looking back, my daughter really just needed the basics, and we figured out the rest as we went.
I wish I knew to keep an eye out for sales. There are so many great deals throughout the year, and I could’ve saved a lot by waiting for promotions. I’ve learned that brands like Momcozy often have sales, and it makes a big difference when you’re trying to stick to a budget.

Yes baby’s are expensive. I look back and I don’t even know where my money went to before kids. All my money goes to them and what they need. Marketplace has been a lifesaver for second hand items
Total facts! My biggest lesson is not buying cute clothes in advance. They outgrow things in five seconds, sometimes before the tags even come off! Now I only buy the basics on sale.
Great advice!!! Once I figured out this advice with my second baby I saved so much, but one piece of advice I learned with my first was to buy the big things(crib, stroller etc) all gender neutral! Saved so much money!!
Yes! The worst is buying something that they don’t have any interest in! I read something recently about how babies don’t really need toys because our faces are the way they are learning! It’s so true their inquisitive nature is always on faces and learning new expressions
