This is a recent one for me, but I wish I knew how drawn to water my daughter would be. Like in the bath or the pool, she has to shove her while face in it. The other day, she shoved her face into a bucket of water. She puts her whole face into water puddles when we’re outside. Shes taste testing all the water!! I could hand her a sippy cup full of water, but she throws it to the side to taste test the water she shouldn’t be. I finally decided to teach her how to blow bubbles in the pool, so she goes around blowing bubbles in random water now. At least she’s not inhaling it anymore. Am I the only one whose toddler does this? It’s so stressful!

My daughter is not that much because she doesn’t like water in her eyes, but she does love the water. I say you did a really good job teaching her to be comfortable with water!!

The funny thing is, she can’t stand water in her eyes either! But this only seems to be the case when I’m rinsing her hair in the bath. The rest of the time she just says “oh no” and then keeps going at it lol.
