Currently breastfeeding my 7 month old and my goal is to be able to until shes 1yr old. I didnt make it this long with my first daughter so I know very little about weaning. Do I wait until shes 1 or do I slowly start now? And what does that look like because currently at home she gets the breast but I pump when im at work to provide bottles for her while at the babysitters.

If your goal is to make it to a year the I would wait closer to then to start weaning because it will effect your supply.
Following this because I have no clue where to start when the time comes
Slowly decrease a feed at a time so you don’t get clogged ducts and if I felt super engorged I would had express or use the manual pump for a little relief
