What MomAndMore means to me🤱🏼

What “Mom & More” means to me is a safe place for mamas to talk about more than just motherhood. At the end of the day, we’re just moms — not superwomen. We stretch ourselves so thin for our babies, it’s easy to get lost and lose pieces of ourselves and our identity.

But that’s also the beauty in between it all — you slowly find parts of yourself again, and you discover new things you love with your babies.

Postpartum can last up to a year mentally, and it’s never talked about enough. Taking time for yourself after having a baby is the only way you’ll pull through. Finding joy in the things that make you happy helps you be a better mom, partner, friend, and daughter.

You matter too, mama. Don’t forget that. Those babies know they are so loved and taken care of — so give yourself some grace. :white_heart:

This is so needed. :yellow_heart: “We’re just moms — not superwomen” hit me right in the chest, because it’s the truth we forget on the hard days.
You’re absolutely right about postpartum lasting up to a year (and beyond) mentally, and how rarely that’s talked about openly. Taking time for yourself isn’t selfish—it’s survival.
Thank you for reminding us that finding joy again, in whatever form it takes, makes us better moms and better humans. We do matter too. :white_heart:

It really does help. I honestly feel like I’ve become a better mom since I finally realized it’s okay to give myself time to enjoy things too. I used to think I’d miss something if I left my kiddos with their grandparents for even 30 minutes, but honestly those 30 minutes help both me and them. They love my family and my family loves them.

Postpartum can take over so easily and I agree, it just isn’t talked about enough. I think we all need to be more open about it so we feel less alone. All of these feelings and emotions — it’s okay to have them. :heart_hands:t2::people_hugging:

I completely agree that postpartum is for sure. A topic not really talk that much. I myself struggled a lot with it and what helped me was asking for help.
