What to do with BreastMilk

Hello MomCozy Community,

I’m posting on here because I feel confused and unsure of what to do, and I would like outside perspective. I am 8m PP and for the first month my baby was in the NICU, I was on pumping mode even 2 months after he came home, until I realized I didn’t need to pump anymore, I could just nurse him directly (which is what I started doing) Well, now I am left with a good amount of Frozen Breastmilk which isn’t being used because my baby stopped taking bottle and I also love the bond breastfeeding has created between my baby and I. I’m unsure of what to do with it, I feel selfish using it to bathe him and I definitely don’t want to throw it away but I’ve never donated nor sold breast milk. The breast milk is about 5-7m old. Can I please get some ideas and POV’s please and TIA.

That’s a really good question and I think it depends on your preferences.

I personally like making food with my breastmilk for example, I would make a smoothie for my baby and I will use breastmilk and fruits. One of her favorite foods is actually baby oatmeal so I would always add breastmilk to that.

It really just depends on you what you want to do with it
