A Motherhood Journey: What I’ve Learned Along the Way
Let me introduce myself. My story with Momcozy is part of a motherhood journey that has taught me to carry grief, hope, fear, strength, and love—all at the same time.
In September 2025, I lost my baby girl at 21 weeks. It was a loss that changed me forever. A little over a month later, I found out I was pregnant again—my little miracle. Joy came with fear, and every appointment, pain, and new week felt heavy. At 22 weeks, I was told that my cervix was open and very short. I needed an emergency cerclage, and I spent one of the hardest nights of my life in the hospital crying, praying, and hoping my baby would have a chance.
My cerclage was later removed, my waters were manually broken, and I was induced. I gave birth to my beautiful baby, but our journey continued with time in the NICU for jaundice. Coming home was emotional too. I faced late-night crying, feeling overwhelmed and alone, and difficult days of pumping, breastfeeding, latching, and worrying about my milk supply.
Motherhood has taught me so many small tips and tricks—especially that I do not need to have everything perfect. I learned to prepare my feeding area before nightfall with water, snacks, burp cloths, a phone charger, and clean feeding supplies nearby. Having the essentials within reach made late-night feeds feel calmer and saved me from searching for things while tired.
I also learned to create a gentle nighttime routine. The three-level light on my Momcozy Large Capacity Baby Wipe Warmer became useful as a soft dim light for late-night diaper changes and feeds. Instead of switching on bright room lights, I could choose a gentle setting that helped keep the room calm for my baby and me.
Pumping and breastfeeding taught me patience. I learned that feeding does not always go as planned, and it is okay to ask questions, seek help, and try different comfortable positions. I also learned to keep pumping supplies organized, clean, and ready to use, which made the routine feel more manageable on difficult days.
For moms on the go, one tip I learned is to keep feeding supplies in separate pouches—one for pumping items, one for milk storage, and one for cleaning essentials. It can make it easier to find what you need quickly and feel more prepared outside the home.
My baby is still facing challenges, including a hernia, crying, diarrhea, and vomiting, and I am still learning every day. What has made a real difference is the Momcozy Community. The moms there have supported me through pregnancy, NICU days, pumping struggles, feeding worries, and the emotional moments when I needed encouragement most. Their kindness reminded me that I am not alone.
For me, MomAndMore means remembering that behind every mom is a whole woman—with her own story, pain, dreams, creativity, goals, courage, and love. Motherhood is a beautiful part of who I am, but I am also still learning, growing, healing, and finding myself one day at a time.
Here’s to the little routines that make a big difference, the support that helps us keep going, and every mom doing her best through the hard and beautiful days. You are not alone.![]()
