I wish I didn’t feel guilty about needing to go back to work. Every time I come home, I feel horrible that my mother in law takes care of my daughter for almost 11 hours while I’m at work. I feel so bad that I’m not the one raising her, and I feel like my baby doesn’t need me as much since I’m gone for most of the day. I spend time with her when I get home, but I also get so tired from working. I feel so hopeless.

This is such a real thing and so sorry I wish our society worked better with new moms! Ii wish you had all the time in the world you wanted with your baby and it was still paid. You are doing what you have too for your family and that shows how amazing of a mother you are. Don’t feel guilty for being tired after work either you are human and work and and taking care of a baby is so exhausting but she does need you and she will grow up knowing you are her amazing hard working baddie of a mother

Really needed this encouragement 
I really wish our country was more family-focused. They make it where a lot of mothers HAVE to work after having their babies. I believe it should be a choice like it was back in the 50s. I’m all for equal women’s rights, but they kind of screwed a lot of us over in the process. I’m glad to hear that you at least have family watching your baby and not a daycare. You hear so many horror stories about daycare, I can’t even imagine.
You’re doing a great job providing for your little one, and doing what you gotta do. She does need you. No one can replace the love a mother has for her child. You are the most important person in the world to her

She absolutely needs you, you are her momma! You are doing what is best for your family and you’re doing a great job, you even worrying about if you are doing enough shows what a good momma you are!

Girl we just gotta do what we gotta do! And it takes a village! I’m due end of September and will have to go back to work in January- but I’m doing it alone and I feel the same guilt already. My only support is friends where I live so I feel that also!
