I’m eyeing things that will make on the go a lot easier! Comfortable nursing bras, a bottle chiller and the portable fan. Baby boy just turned 4 months and we’re looking forward to getting him out to see more! He’s really taking everything in and loving everything new he sees. Can’t wait to spoil him this summer!
Also baby boy is starting daycare on Monday and they want milk in bags so I’ll have to learn how to start bagging milk. I was a low supplier turned just the right amounter so I’ve never bagged milk! I think it’ll be easy but I prefer storing in bottles and the pitcher method. Wish me luck and drop any advice you have on bagging!
Hello, my advice is to buy storage containers on Amazon to store the milk if you plan on freezing it. That helped me create a good amount and keep it organized. Also, some insurances do cover breast milk storage bags, if that is something you want to look into.
I’m swimming in insurance provided breast milk bags think I’ve accumulated 800 but I did get 50 of the momcozy smart bags and I think I’ll start with those first and see how I like them over the motif bags provided by insurance.
I’m also eyeing the cooler!! I would definitely check to see if your insurance company covers the bags and maybe get a pump through them if you didn’t already… I used aeroflow
Yes I got my pump and get all my replacement parts through Aeroflow. I need to see if I can switch though because aeroflow started sending me cheap low quality replacement parts and it decreased my output. Like the valves just fell off on the first use. So I replaced everything on my spectra with spectra direct replacement parts and my output went back up. I’m very disappointed with Aeroflow right now. You don’t mess with mamas’ milk supply!!
Oh wow!! I actually just received my first replacement order and haven’t switched the parts yet… I will have to look into changing where they come from. Do you have any suggestions on how to do that?!
I haven’t figured it out yet! After I figured this out, I saw it posted on Facebook too from Skilled Lactation Consultants account (Facebook totally listens in on my conversations I swear!). Some people in those comments were calling Aeroflow about this.
I can definitely speak for the bottle cooler and stroller fan… both have been absolute lifesavers for traveling. They’ve become part of our routine anytime we leave the house! As an exclusively nursing mama who also pumps on the go, having somewhere I actually trust to keep my milk cold until I get home to properly store and freeze it gives me so much peace of mind.
And don’t even get me started on the stroller fan… just get it!!
