Really hoping I get items from my baby registry at my baby shower especially since the first one is out of town. I made it very clear it’ll be easier from my registry rather than bringing gifts since it’ll get sent straight to my mom’s house. But I truly feel people will still bring what they want. But they would have to send it to me because I don’t have space to bring it back on the plane neither am I paying when it could’ve been purchased online. I know it’s hard and we don’t want to come across as ungrateful but just try to say in a nice way you only want gifts from the registry. To avoid things like getting two of the same item. I said if you want to not purchase from the registry then just buy diapers cause we could always use that !!!

My family is just like don’t tell me what to get, I’ll get what I want. It’s annoying. I’ll just have them keep the receipt to get what I really want but that’s a lot. I will just have to see when the day comes. Thank you, I know most will listen, it’s just my immediate family that’s the problem lol

People ended up doing both at my baby shower. They would get something from the registry plus an outfit or something like that. There’s always going to be that one who brings whatever they feel like. But hopefully there won’t be as much of that since you’re flying. Be sure to ask for receipts and say it’s in case of double gifting so you can return what you don’t like.
