I was thinking, and when it comes down to it, why can’t we just put our bottles in the regular dishwasher? They even make baskets for the nipples and small parts. Does anyone know why most people hand wash instead of putting bottles in the dishwasher? I understand not washing rubbery pump parts in there. I never even thought to question it until now.

I put all of mine in the dishwasher on the top rack to sanitize after I wash them or I will boil them

I personally don’t want to use an entire load for just bottles and I also wash my pump parts like four times a day so the bottle washer is insanely handy for that

I used the dishwasher for bottles that were dishwasher-safe, with the little basket for nipples and parts. I only hand-washed when I needed something right away or didn’t have enough for a full load.
