We have been using distilled water to prevent hard water spots/buildup. They do sell descaling tablets if this isn’t an option for you, I just knew I personally didn’t have the extra time in my day being a full time working mom of 4 (one being special needs) with the new baby to add regular descaling to my routine if it wasn’t needed. Enjoy your new bottle washer! Ours has been a godsend!

Distilled water is a good idea. I rinse parts right after use so cleaning is faster. Hope your washer makes things easier for you.
