Breastfeeding Story

I am currently on my 3rd breastfeeding journey, and it has been the most difficult one. My baby is currently 6 months old, and he was born with a small tongue tie. I didn’t get it corrected because he nursed good when he was born. However, it got harder for him and he wasn’t eating enough and I didn’t know. I felt like a failure because I should have known he wasn’t eating enough. It so easy to talk down on ourselves but we are all doing our best to take care of ourselves and our babies :heart_hands:

Don’t beat yourself up. My 4th baby (first journey of breastfeeding) was also failure to thrive and I felt as though he was intaking plenty. We have no way of fully knowing. You are doing amazing!
