I am currently on my 3rd breastfeeding journey, and it has been the most difficult one. My baby is currently 6 months old, and he was born with a small tongue tie. I didn’t get it corrected because he nursed good when he was born. However, it got harder for him and he wasn’t eating enough and I didn’t know. I felt like a failure because I should have known he wasn’t eating enough. It so easy to talk down on ourselves but we are all doing our best to take care of ourselves and our babies

Tongue ties can be so tricky to catch, so please give yourself grace! Every baby brings a new learning curve, even on journey #3. You’re doing a wonderful job! Hugs mama

Don’t beat yourself up. My 4th baby (first journey of breastfeeding) was also failure to thrive and I felt as though he was intaking plenty. We have no way of fully knowing. You are doing amazing!
