My daughter is 16 months old.Floor time is so good for them even before they are crawling. I had my daughter on the floor a lot before she was crawling. I know some babies don’t like it, but they eventually come to enjoy it if you start with a small amount of time and gradually work up to a longer time on the floor. I have a friend who refused to give her baby tummy time because he didn’t like it, so she put him in various bouncers and activity centers and walkers all the time. Her son walks everywhere on his tippy toes now that he’s walking, and his leg muscles didn’t develop properly. The fisher price play gym with the foot piano was her favorite. She still plays with the piano to this day because it detaches from the play gym

It’s crazy how maybe twenty years ago we had no idea but now there’s info about how it can be damaging to use certain toys etc and yet they’re still on the market and somebody still chooses to buy and use them.

I know, like why are companies still selling unsafe products. It makes zero sense
