My baby experienced a ruptured eardrum from an ear infection. Will her hearing be affected? I guess it’s not uncommon but it’s still sounds scary.

Oh no, I hope your daughter has a speedy recovery. I don’t know for sure as I’m not a doctor but my niece had a ruptured ear drum and she hears fine now. I would definitely get her hearing tested just in case tho. My oldest son has had lots of ear infection and had to get tubes. He just got cleared for normal hearing. My youngest now has an ear infection. I’m hoping it’s just one and done but if she continues to get them I would request to see an ENT specialist
I have no advice but I hope baby is doing better now!
