Everyday life with my babies is full and nonstop, but so meaningful. My youngest just turned 10 months, and I’m always with them, my 4 year old son and my 3 year old daughter. My mornings start early with pumping, then preparing breakfast for everyone. I spend time teaching my son math and reading, while doing little learning activities with his sister too. I feel so proud seeing how much he’s learned. He can already read and do addition and subtraction, and has gone through two sets of Bob Books.
We also do art and music. I play guitar or ukulele for fun, and in between learning, we play or I let them play on their own so I can have a little time for myself, like scrolling through social media or messaging my family back in the Philippines or editing pics and vids for fun. My husband leaves at 6am and often comes home late, sometimes around 9pm, so most days it’s just me managing everything. It can be exhausting, but hey, we’re hanging in there…
Sharing it here in the Momcozy community makes it even more meaningful for me. Knowing that moms from all over the world take a moment to read it and leave kind words really makes my heart happy.
