Motherhood has altered my life entirely in the best way possible. I’m not the same girl who got off that operating table. Being a mother made me become strong and made me stop caring what others thought of me.
Being a people pleaser my whole life was mentally draining. I felt like I was stretching myself for everyone but ME. Deep down I felt like I never really had any true friends.
Now all my attention and focus is on my babies. They’ve given me purpose and they love me for who I am. My whole life I’ve been told I’m too much or I talk too much and so on, but my babies look at me like I’m the lottery and it’s the best feeling ever.
At first I wanted to go to college — my family pushed it my whole life — however deep down I felt I had a bigger calling. I wanted to be a stay at home mom. I wanted to be there for my babies as much as possible and I’m blessed to be able to.
To some it may seem like I gave my life up or that I’m not doing much, but I’m on the clock 24/7 with my babies and although I love it so much, at times it can be hard. But they’re so worth it ![]()
