Life with toddler and a newborn

Life with a toddler and a newborn is a nonstop mix of giggles, chaos, and very little sleep.
One minute you’re breaking up a crayon crisis, the next you’re decoding a mysterious baby cry.
It’s exhausting and messy—but somehow filled with more love than I knew was possible.

Oh and I had no idea one can run for hours on one bite of sandwich.

How has the transition been? I currently have a 3 yo and baby will be here in 2 weeks! My toddler has even acting out at home and preschool and I’m at my wits end

I agree the hardest thing ever is dealing with the age transition. My toddler was the best i even compared him to my 8 year old. When the baby was born my toddler isn’t the same. I blame myself and feel so bad because i to so much away from him and his experiences of being “the baby” . My 8 year old had life and was given everything but my toddler was taken from all of it and now i see why we go through not tantrums. Love all of my kids but life sure gets harder.

I was talking to my toddler everyday about how we are going to have a new member in the family. He is going to be a big brother now. I also got a gift for him. I told him that baby got a gift for him. I also make sure that sometimes I give him time even if the baby needs me so that he doesn’t feel left out. It is tough but as time goes it will get better.

Praying for a second baby so I can experience this. What a beautiful mess to be in

This is so true! My baby is starting to notice her siblings and it is the sweetest thing! She just smiles and giggle at them and they think it’s so cool!
