This summer I want pumping to be easier by having my pumps ready to work. Today I want to highlight my new m9 mobile flow pump!
This pump is very comfortable. I continuously think it is not working because I can barely feel a “pull” and instead I feel more of a vibration. But I am surprised each time when I finish my session and see how much milk I made!
The flanges are super comfortable.
I’m feeling very good about the output. Two weeks ago I was using a different pump for this feed and was getting about 1.5-2 oz per side or less. With this pump I’m getting 2.5-3!
The only thing I don’t love, to be honest with my mommas, is the cup. The cup is shaped in a way that my bottle washer doesn’t love it. I tried a few diffenrt ways and no matter what, liquid gets stuck. I’m going to keep trying, but I prefer cups more like the m5 and air1 because they clean so easy.
That’s nice that you don’t feel them while they’re going! That happens for me with the m6 I’m using. It’s so strange because you would think you would feel something! I like the collection cups on the m9, I would think they’d make things easier. I can understand how it would be hard for a washer to get them all the way clean though
Wow, that output increase is everything! There is nothing better than getting more milk with way more comfort. Hopefully you find a trick for the dishwasher, but what an awesome win for your summer supply!
The cups are odd, it’s just because they don’t come apart that makes them hard. Like it’s hard to get into the corners and the bottle washer , no matter the angle, water pools.
Yes! I had this same issue with my first wearable- the Elvies. It’s like a short cup so it’s hard to even get your fingers in :(. Good punk but that is my big draw back!
I really like my M9s, but I do find I have the same problem too! I just try to make sure the collection cup is as flat as possible in the bottom of the washer and once the washing cycle is done, I’ll take the cups out and put them on a rack to air dry!
