After so much trial and error and after having 3 kids at various ages, it seems like my must haves have grown. Lol.
Here is a list of my absolute must haves.
- Wallet: ID, payment cards, insurance cards
- Pen and sharpie marker (never know when you need to anotate a milk bag with day or time. )
- Protein bars (for me and kids), travel juice powder ( make juices on the go)
- 1 empty baby bottle and nipple
- 1 filled baby bottle of breast milk to start a drive and feed baby
- 1 mini travel formula milk and nipple: youll never know if your on the go and canāt stop to pump or breast feed. Even though my baby donāt drink formula since the hospital, its crucial to bring a bottle that can be stored at room temp and not go bad until opened compared to breast milk and uhauling a cooler or heater. (Then again i donāt have that ability to purchase the heat warming bottle. Unfortunatley i cant afford at this time) lol
- At least 2 milk storage bags ( in case im in a rush) sometimes i tell myself where ill go before i head out but i always end up at more places.
- Wearable breast pump/parts
- 1 set of reusable nipple covers(soaks up milk before i begin to pump)
- Baby wipes
- 2 diapers for toddler
- 4 diapers for newborn
- 1 bottle for toddler juice
- 2 wet and dry bags for my pump and possible soiled diapers(if no nearby trash) also for soiled clothing(if those diapers got heavy or had a big poop disaster #iykyk
- 1 outfit for toddler
- 2 bibs
- 2 outfits for newborn
- Changing pad
- Mini first aid kit
- Make up bag with any allergy meds, hand sanitizer, nose tissue, daily medications, creams, eyedrops, chapstick, etc.
Not exaggerated lol. I hope im not kissing anything here. I carry a bookbag everyday and everywhere, even if its a short trip anywhere. I know this bag is very heavy but it brings comfort to me knowing i donāt miss anything for any of my chipmunks lol MomBagMustHaves
