So thankful for this 2-1 hip carrier it’s literally sharing the load and helping us carry my son all over his first mule scramble ! We spent a lot of time packing mules before he was born so this event is very special to us and it’s ours sons first one! Also his outfit is so stinking cute I can’t handle it.
We are camping out with all our friends competing and it’s going great so far !

So I bought this for ergonomic reasons!! I was having a lot of shoulder and back pain from carrying my son all day especially as he got bigger. This one has a seat he can stop on and all the weight goes into my hips rather than shoulder and back. On top of the you can take the straps off and it turns into just a hip seat which has really saved my wrists and I can do a lot more things around the house. It was waaay better than my ergo baby I had! Honestly I cant believe I didn’t get it sooner. My son also really wanted to face outward so he was pretty happy about that

A mule scramble? What is that?
So in the park we pack mules to get stuff into the deep backcountry, this event is all the National park teams + plus different oufits in the eastern sierras all scrambling to pack and load their mules it’s like a fun competition they have every year and it’s massive !!
Thank a friend gave us those boots they are too big tho so we had to hold them on for a picture hahaha

Yeah it’s out in the middle of nowhere so we camp up in the forest service it’s so nice, going to the hot springs today.
