“Momfidence” = Mom Confidence 💗

OK, this isn’t a real word… But it’s a made up word that my family uses called momfidence or mom confidence. Lol! I have two older sisters and a mom that I am close with. Yesterday I was visiting my mom and while I was leaving with my twins, she said to me, you’re the most attentive mom I know. This was after a conversation we had and I was telling her that I felt like I wasn’t doing enough. She told me to keep my confidence up.

So my tip to all the moms out there and as a reminder to myself, keep your momfidence up! You are all doing such an amazing job - more than you even know. Caring and showing up is half the battle. Look back at your pregnancy journey in newborn phase with pride. I’m going to try to make it a point for any new mom in my life to build them up and have them realize what a great job they’re doing. It means so much to me to get a compliment or just a supportive conversation with another mom to boost my mood.

This is such a great reminder. I know how easy it is to beat yourself up about how you’re not doing enough. I often feel like there’s something more I should be doing

I absolutely love the word “momfidence”! :face_holding_back_tears::heart: Sometimes we’re so hard on ourselves and focus on everything we feel like we’re not doing, when in reality we’re doing so much more than we realize. Having another mom remind you that you’re doing a great job can mean EVERYTHING. I’m definitely going to remember this and keep my momfidence up too!

Yessss I LOVE “momfidence” :joy::heart: I’m definitely stealing that one lol. I feel like we can be doing a million things for our babies and still lay in bed at night thinking “I should’ve done more” :sob: Like girl WHAT more could we possibly do?! Sometimes we really just need another mom to remind us that we’re doing a good job and that showing up every single day counts for ALOT. I love that your mom told you that, because those little comments can stick with you for a long time. We need more moms hyping up other moms instead of making each other feel like we’re not doing enough :face_holding_back_tears::heart_hands: keep that momfidence UP ladies!!
