Motherhood expands my life by showing me that becoming a mom doesn’t mean putting my own dreams on hold—it gives me even more reasons to chase them.
After having my third baby, I could have easily told myself, “Maybe this isn’t the season for big goals.” I was recovering postpartum, exclusively pumping around the clock, caring for three children, and eventually returning to 12-hour night shifts as an ER nurse.
Instead, motherhood taught me something about myself that I didn’t fully realize before:

But motherhood didn’t make me want to stop there. It made me dream bigger. Now I’m working toward my next professional goal, CCRN certification, while continuing my exclusively pumping journey and raising my three little ones. ![]()
Motherhood has taught me stronger priorities, better boundaries, patience, discipline, and a kind of determination I didn’t know I had.
My children don’t take me away from the woman I want to become.
They get to watch her become her. ![]()

One day, I hope they look back and remember a mama who loved them fiercely while continuing to learn, grow, and make room for her dreams.
Motherhood didn’t ask me to choose between being their mom and becoming more.
It gave me a bigger reason to keep becoming more. ![]()
