The current must-have item in my mom bag is the Momcozy Breast Milk Cooler. I was SO generously gifted this cooler from Momcozy over the summer and it had been a lifesaver over and over again.
Right away, I started using it for breast milk storage whenever I was pumping on the go. And as a mom that works outside of the home, that was many of my pumping sessions. This cooler gave me peace of mind that my milk would stay cool whether I was pumping on a short drive, running errands, making my daily commute, or powering through long workdays.
I’m also a combo-feeding mom, and this cooler had a second life helping me cut down on formula waste. We’d prep a pitcher of formula for the next day’s bottles, but struggle to keep that formula cold if we needed to take a bottle along with us for a feed. And those single-serve bottles are convenient, but when baby doesn’t finish them I find myself throwing away what’s left. Being able to keep formula cold as well was a game-changer for us.
As we packed for our 5-hour drive up to MA this weekend, I was concerned that travel time meant I couldn’t bring our prepped frozen chicken purée along with us for baby. I was worried her routine would be disrupted, but this cooler came in like a superhero. Our frozen food kept for the entire ride up!
We’re approaching baby’s first birthday, and I figured I’d be packing this cooler away soon as I wean off of the pump and we transition to milk. Instead, this cooler will be with us for a while to come!
