My story just so grateful to have this mom cozy space

Let me introduce myself, I am Kiana! My story with Momcozy is that I had found one of the Facebook groups maybe 2-3 months after I had my first kiddo. I am so grateful I had as well. I did wish I learned about it so much sooner! Being able to share my stories, read others, learn from others, and trying to help others as well was so vital for my postpartum journey! I didn’t have family near; I did have a few friends where I was but the mom cozy community truly did just feel so much more cozy. I think their holiday events really made my holiday season away from family feel like the holidays! I’ve been so grateful…one of my favorite products to try was a mom cozy cool fit nursing bra, it was such a game changer because it felt so much more supportive!!! It made me feel so so great.

What MomAndMore means to me is well 1…being a mom is like the most amazing, fulfilling, wholesome, best role in society someone could have and I am so grateful for it. You kind of unlock a new stage in life lol but it is so interesting trying to navigate who you are after you officially become a mom. And side note…there are so many ways of being a mom - there are so many journey’s mamas go through to become a mom and I’ve learned so much more on that too. You are kind of the same person, but also evolved. Although my baby is 21 months :sparkles: ( oh my goodness), I still consider myself postpartum while pregnant lol… because I am still breastfeeding my little! I find myself doing things I’ve done before but moreso in a different view to do them FOR my son. Which feels so so great. When I’m organizing, lol I think of decluttering more to clear my mindset which overall helps my little!

Okay I might write more later, but the TLDR… I just love being a mom, sometimes I wish we started sooner but then I wouldn’t have my son and little one on the way as I do now. I am so thankful for mom cozy and this space they have for us!:sparkles: :sparkles:

Not having family nearby during postpartum is so tough, me too :frowning: but so it’s amazing that this community was able to give you that feeling of home during the holidays and beyond. That description of being the same person, just “evolved,” is so true! Huge congratulations on nursing your 21-month-old through pregnancy, that is incredible strength right there. So glad to connect with you! :growing_heart:

Thank you so much for sharing your story.

I completely understand the part of not having family nearby. We live about two hours away from our family so we really have to depend on one another. I also I also do wish I would’ve learned about the Momcozy mom group sooner because I hated until my daughter was almost 8 months to be more involved. :sob::weary_face::heart:

Not having family close is hard. For me it has helped me to lean on my husband for help more and has strengthened our relationship. I’m so glad you found the Momcozy groups and it brought you comfort during the holidays.
