Nasal aspirator 2 in 1

One of the reasons getting the nasal aspirator is so important to me is, when my first was 13 months old ,He got his first ear infection. We did the 10 days of antibiotics but within a few days of finishing them it came back. It was 10 pm at night and he had a fever of 41. We ended up going to the emergency room where he was sent to peds. He ended up on another 10 days of antibiotics as well as an ent specialist after a night at the hospital. He continued to get ear infection till he got tubes at age 2.

Using saline and mist like the aspirator has is what the specialist recommended to help keep his mucus from building up. It was recommended to us over and over again. But when doing nasal saline drops fighting with a toddler was hard. He is a bit traumatized by it now and can’t get anywhere near him with drops. He seems okay with the mist tho. Which is a huge yay for this mama.

The nasal aspirator made it so much easier now. I wish I had it sooner when my first was going through his ear infection stage. My youngest has a chance at getting ear infections too. We hope not but with having an easier way of doing saline will make the cold season way easier. I really want the new thermometer they have too. It would make cold and flu season way easier.

How did I not know that this is how ear infections start? Thank you for sharing this! I realllly want one of the Momcozy nasal aspirators with the mist! I do my daughter’s nose morning and night every day, and she hates the saline spray.

They can start by build up of fluid or from a virus. Some kids are more prone to them too. I hope you can get it too. The saline drops are hard to do and you feel so guilty but it’s for their own good

That’s good to know. Yeah I hate making her take the saline spray. I try to do it as quickly as I can
