So I bought the portal bottle warmer for this summer especially when we are camping. My son will only drink warm milk. If it’s cold he will have a sip and push the bottle away and refuses it. We go camping a lot, sometimes plugged in sometimes fully disconnected. I was stressing on how to warm up bottles this summer. I took a plunge and got the portable bottle warmer.
What I didn’t realize is that I need it in my everyday life. Not just the summer. I use it everyday. Midnight feeding. I prewarm water so it’s warm in the night. We do combo breast milk and formula. If I’m mixing them, I warm up to 122 and add the cold milk to cool it down. Going out for the day. It comes with us. Going to dinner no problem. It warms the water for me. No more hot water in a bowl warming a bottle taking 15 mins plus.
Bottles were a hit and miss. He’s gone through stages where he refuses them and then wants them. He was mostly wanting bottles for about a month and so we started weaning. Now he wants the breast more so I’ve been pumping after feeding to increase my milk.
