Being a first time mom and preparing for motherhood can be a little bit scary. At least for me it was, not knowing where to start or what is correct and just trying to be prepared correctly.
I did go through the nesting phase. Where I was finding myself cleaning and getting everything ready before time. I even made a suite case for the hospital (which I didn’t end up using).
I honestly recommend to looking into breastfeeding/ latching / pumping before baby arrives. That was my mistake and once baby was here I had always thought pumping will increase my supply so I didn’t latch the first few weeks. I feel like that made a big impact on having to combo feed.
Then I was introduced to sns the best thing ever! Besides pumping and latching with sns my supply slowly but surely increased!
It’s increased that I started getting mastitis that was terrible! Momcozy collection cups were a life saver! Anytime I would put nipple cream is use the cups so it actually last instead of rubbing off on the bras.
This is just one little example to prepare for mother hood![]()
