Pumping Tip: Extra Set of Parts

My tip for pumping is to have an extra set of pump parts! No extra motor needed, but having an extra set of pump parts can save you the hassle of having to wash parts immediately after pumping. If you have a bottle washer, one set can be washing while the other set is available for you. You can buy your extra set or most insurance companies allow replacements every 32 days so you might be able to grab your extra set then if your originals do not need replacing yet.

if you’re still doing a MOTN pump, this tip will save you so much time! Pump with one set and either throw the milk in a Momcozy cooler bedside or leave it for the morning within the room temperature window and have another set of pump parts ready for your first pump of the day. None of us have time to wash pump parts in the middle of the night!

Agreed! A second set of parts for my favorite pump helped so much because I knew I didn’t need to immediately clean up everything after pumping and it helped relieve a lot of stress.

I couldn’t agree more with you! I have back up sets for all of my pumps just incase I don’t get to washing them right away

I second this. And you can rotate them out lasting longer before replacing them. :brown_heart:

Oh wow three!! That makes a lot of sense for you though cause you seem like you’re always on the go so that’s probably really helpful!

Yes exactly! Though I need to do a better job at remembering which set I rotated out last!
