When it came to choosing my pump, I spent hours researching. Pumps are an investment & because I’m using it to provide every drop of nutrition for my little one, I wanted something that would not only give me great milk output but also protect my supply & hopefully even help increase it over time.
Comfort was another huge factor for me. If I’m pumping multiple times a day, I want it to be as enjoyable as possible. Features like customizable settings, a comfortable fit & thoughtful design truly make a difference because pumping can be exhausting.
As a mom of three, convenience is EVERYTHING. Some days I’m pumping at home with my hospital grade pump spectra S1 & other days I’m relying on my wearable while chasing toddlers, running errands, road tripping or working my 12 hour shift. Having both has given me the flexibility to stay consistent with my breastfeeding goals & that’s been a game changer for me.
I love it. I truly hope someone gifts me either the Air1 or Wellness Ones, I would be so grateful. Most like eventually might buy it for myself after I give birth. I got the Spectra S2 through my insurance but really wanted the S1 instead and still had to pay $55 .
I hope someone gifts you it! If you have to buy it just know it’s worth every penny the spectra S2 and S1 are exactly the same. I just know one is slightly more convenient. TBH I still kept my S1 plugged in while pumping anyways.
I don’t know why but I always felt the suction was stronger and I had more output when my spectra was plugged in. So I always had it plugged in. It’s so big that you’re really not going to be walking around with it doing stuff anyways.
Yes girl! Don’t worry about being plugged in. Especially when you pump in the middle of the night you’re not going to be moving and hauling it wherever you go lol. It’s not small.
