Something I did not understand with my first but I do with my second is “laying down sleepy but awake”. This is my 7 month laying down for bed. He’s fed and then laid with me for a little. Once his eyes started to get heavy, I moved to crib. Then it will take another 15 minutes or so of him grunting , “eghh”, and what’s kinda sounds like the the start of cry but then doesn’t (like a mehhh”). He’s still in the my room and I’m in the bed next to the crib. Now…if you have baby that is very colic like my first, this probably won’t work!
