First off I want to start with this water is very clear right off the mountain the sand is just brown hahaha 
but I wanted to make this post to really give my appreciation to my partner, my son is so lucky to have the father he has, as am I. Without him we wouldn’t live the life we do and get to have these first experiences of putting his feet in the snowmelt and touching the sand of this beautiful space. He gets to experience the beauty of this land and all it has to offer but I couldn’t possibly do it without my partners support! He’s an amazing father and one incredible partner.

What a lovely thing for him to experience sticking his toes in the sand and fresh snowmelt! I’m a little jealous!
Our house is next to a creek, but we wouldn’t dare touch the water. Unfortunately it’s all runoff from when it rains and people throw trash in there. It’s sad. But it doesn’t stop the local kids from fishing in it! Your husband sounds like a really great guy! He’s so good to you guys!

That’s so fair! That’s how a lot of creeks in Southern California are too makes me sad! But we are lucky he’s got a good water here! Straight from the tip top of our mountains. Kinda cold though and for some reason our son loves the cold!!! Hates bathtime loves freezing cold river ???

Maybe his next bath needs to be ice cold! Dump a little sand in the tub, and you’re good to go!

Oh she’s definitely going to be ! With such great parents that’s go outside all the time how could she not!! Also you made me want to get that turtle sandbox did you end up getting that thing

Aww thank you. We are trying to make sure she’s the outdoorsy type. We haven’t gotten the turtle sandbox yet. I really want it though! It’s so cute and she would have so much fun! I haven’t seen a pink one. But if they make one, I’ll be all over it!
