My older one is in a new phase now. Feels like he is testing my patience for every little thing. Lately, he pushes back or negotiates on everything I say. Has anyone experience that?

Yes! My 18 month old learned the word no last month. She likes to use her newly found independence every chance she gets! She even says no to the things she does want. I think she just likes having a choice. There’s certain things I’ve learned not to ask her. Like do you want a bath? Do you want a diaper change? The answer is always no. And it’s so cute how she says it to. She says no no and then shakes her finger at me!
