Time to Recharge 🪫🔌

One support tip I would add for moms building their feeding routine is to make a dedicated time for themselves during the day! I’m talking about 30 or so minutes where you have time to recharge- a hot shower, a warm cup of coffee or tea and scrolling momcozy (:slightly_smiling_face:), or a walk around the block with the dog. Just a bit of time where you aren’t caring for others, planning things for baby, or doing side tasks.

I know everyone’s situation is different and there’s sometimes not extra hands or involvement for babysitting coverage. But if there’s ever an opportunity when a friend, partner, or family member can watch baby for a little bit, it helps so much to get at least a little window of time to regroup. Maybe it’s right after pumping and you have bottles covered for the next feed or maybe it’s that you just nursed the baby and they’re down for a nap. I know it’s hard to be away but it does wonders when we feel supported and put energy into ourselves. Then we can show up as the best version of ourselves. :two_hearts:
