As I was brushing my teeth getting ready for bed, my husband bursts in the room and says “grab the baby and get in the tub”! So I ran to the bedroom and grabbed her, a blanket, and my Momcozy sound machine, and we got in the tub. It was such a scary moment! So here’s why I grabbed my sound machine. It has a 12 hour charge from being plugged into the wall, and it is our source of light when the power goes out. So there we were all hunkered down in the bathroom around the Momcozy sound machine! Luckily everything worked out okay, and the tornado didn’t hit us. I am so thankful for my husband being on top of things! It was a great teamwork moment for us! Obviously I didn’t think to take a picture during all the panic, but here’s a picture of me holding my sound machine over the bathtub!

I lived in Indiana and still remember how scare tornado was even it was 10 years ago… The whole sky was becoming to gray.. Good to hear your family is all good!
Thanks! Tornadoes are so scary. Yeah, I’m impressed with how long it stays on too. When the power goes out on a non-tornadoey night, it lasts all night long and then some. I have the sound machine and red light going 12ish hours every night, and it has never ran out of battery.
That’s scary! I am so afraid of tornadoes. They’re the worst! And the fact that tornado alley shifted to the east a bit to include my state last year really sucks.
