Before having babies , one of the most common things I would be asked “where are you headed to next?!”
I traveled all the time. One time I even took a 4 week trip out west to glacier, yellowstone, the Rocky’s, grand Teton and a few other spots. It was MAGICAL. It felt like a whole new world and I fell back in LOVE.
Traveling has slowed down quite a bit with one…and now two. BUT I made a commitment to my husband that we will always do one trip a year with the kids. We will not stop.
Traveling with babies doesn’t have to stop is what everyone told me. And we are committed to that, but I’ll be completely honest… it is hard and different. But there are some things that are different in a beautiful way.
I’m more than a mom, I’m traveler that loves what our world has created. I hope my children love travel as much as me or more!
Yes!!! I still love to travel. It just looks alot different for us with 2 kids. Were actually making our first trip to San Diego with an 8 month old. We’ve make plenty of Phoenix trips but now were going out of Arizona and excited to see how it goes.

That sounds like so much fun to travel like that! It’s definitely a whole new challenge traveling with a baby/toddler. We’re the same way and are dedicated to traveling once a year for now. As my daughter gets older, we want to travel the country and do all the fun family things together. My husband grew up in Europe, so they would be all new experiences for him too

Traveling with kids definitely takes a whole new level of planning and flexibility, but seeing the world through their eyes makes the extra effort completely worth it. Taking them out into nature and doing annual family trips creates memories they’ll cherish forever. Keep exploring!
So glad you are continuing your adventures and it is so awesome that your kids get to be apart of it now. It is definitely harder to travel with kids but it it so worth it to see the joy and excitement it brings them and they will cherish the memories that they will have of traveling as they grow up

My husband travels a lot for work and I have the option to go with, but I’m worried about how my son will do on a long road trip. Any tips or tricks?
Awww I hope it goes amazing. I did San Diego and it was such a dream. Prekids so I’ll be doing it again one day with kids! The food is NEXT LEVEL. Prepare for deliciousness

I miss it! We are still doing it but it’s def a lot diffenrt now. I certainly am also choosing a lot of “safer” adventures too… no more close waterfalls or nervous mountains for me.
