When to start solids

Lately, I am hearing that one should start solids around 5 month. What do you suggest?

I think depends on if your baby can sit with support or not?

We always started when our pediatrician gave us the green light that my babies were ready but it was normally around 5-6 months when they could sit up on their own. They will start showing signs of being interested in your food :joy:

My doctor always said once baby is 4 months are able to sit right and if they’re showing interest you can always give a little try if they seem to be able to swallow without any problems go for it. I waited until my girls were 6 months for the two oldest. These two little ones seemed to want some ahead of time and we began to give them little samples of food that was liquidy.

It truly all depends on your little one , how well they hold their head up mostly I’d ask your pediatrician that’s what we did

My pediatrician said I could start her on baby food at 4 months old because she was showing an interest in my food.

I watched when they were interested in wanting to eat and started them out with blended foods
