Breastfeeding tips

As a first-time expecting mother I am really excited but overwhelmed about the thought of breastfeeding my baby! I’m excited to share these moments with my baby and bond, but what if I can’t get them to latch? Or my milk supply isn’t heavy enough? Any tips or suggestions for new moms?

I highly recommend seeing a Lactation Consultant at the hospital if they have one before you discharge! The beginning is tough and feels hard because it’s something we’re not used to, but if you keep trying and getting help, you can definitely stick through with it!

First of all please remember that you have everything your baby needs in your body, your body is wise and will produce the amount of milk your baby needs do not overwhelm if at first you do not fill the entire bottle, your milk is enough and your baby does not need anything else. Keep it up!
