Before giving bottle offer breast!

Hi mama welcome to the community!

Have you reached out to a lactation consultant? They may be able to help you!

Welcome to the community. Your flow might be too strong for baby try pumping a little then offer the breast and see if it helps and try to latch as often as you can. If you haven’t reached out to a lactation consultant I would try that as well they could be very helpful.

Welcome! Don’t lose hope, lots of babies transition later on! Lots of skin-to-skin, trying nipple shields, and working 1-on-1 with an IBCLC lactation consultant are great places to start. If you want you can email me or message me on fb Momcozy is giving away free IBCLC. Let me know, I might be able to send this to you, since i am not using it.

My baby was like this at the beginning she didn’t latch until 2 months. What helped me was offering breast before each bottle. It was frustrating bc she would just cry and cry at breast but one day it clicked. Also if you have a lactation consultant near you I would try to go see them. I didn’t have one. Also watching videos helped me. I realized I had flat nipples and that made it complicated too. I’ve been through this so just know you are not alone. And I can try to answer any questions you have

Offer breast as much as you can maybe try the ol switcharoo where you start with a bottle then try to switch with the boobie???

This so so sweet yes take it!!!
