One of my families biggest supporters are our church family. They check on us and make sure we are doing ok, they love my children like they are their own and we have become a family. They did a baby shower for me for my baby and I was so thankful they definitely spoiled her! Our Sunday school class goes out in the community and helps older people with yard work and anything they need help with and we also go and have church with the elderly that can’t come to church on Sundays. Our class also has a group message and we check in with each other daily and share encouraging and uplifting things throughout the week. Having that in my life really recharges my batteries for the week!

That is such a great form of support! And how cool they threw you a baby shower!! I need to find a good church to attend. I’m not real big on organized religion, so I’ve been just reading my Bible at home. I would love to meet some like minded people though. Not just for me, but for my daughter to make some friends that have good values. I’m going to homeschool, so I am going to have to find ways for her to make some good quality friends.

Finding a good church where you feel comfortable and can serve is so important! We thankfully have a really good church but getting into a Sunday school class that has people our age going through the same life struggles really helped a lot we all lift each other up and check on each other throughout the week and it is so nice! I pray that you find that. we didn’t go for a while because we were traveling but when we moved back home we wanted to find a good church home for our kids. We homeschooled for preschool and it was nice that she was able to socialize with kids her age when we went to church.

Yes exactly!!! Sometimes it’s nice in a small town because these communities can be a lot more intimate
