When my daughter was 3 months old, my stepdaughter gave me a pack of size 5 diapers that her son didn’t need. At the time, my daughter was wearing a size 2, so I stored them away and forgot about them. I ordered some more diapers from Amazon because we we had a few days worth left the other day. We ran out before the order could get here, and I couldn’t justify going to the store to waste money on a different brand of diapers if I didn’t have to. Then I remembered the diapers my stepdaughter gave me! They’re a size too big, but I made them work. I can’t believe we actually ran out! I am so grateful for my sweet sweet stepdaughter

How sweet of her and glad you remembered them it’s the worst running out of diapers! I forgot to put some in the diaper bag one day with my son and had to run in the store and buy more

Oh no! How frustrating! We were eating at a restaurant one time, and another mom ran into the same problem and asked if I had a diaper she could have, so I gave her a few. Sometimes we think we’re prepared and we forget!

I try to keep an extra swim diaper in my bag during the summer because people sometimes forget to grab them and they are always so thankful.

That’s a smart idea! I carry a cloth diaper with me in case I ever run out of disposable diapers.
