i’m obsessed with how pretty everything looks this time of year. the leaves, the colors, the whole slightly moody, twilight-coded vibe hahaha 
but my favorite part of this day wasn’t even the pictures. we sat on a park bench while i gave xolo a snack, and somehow we started laughing together nonstop for like FOUR minutes. tears and everything 
i genuinely think it was one of the best moments of my life (right after him being born, of course). i wish i could freeze moments like that forever. just me and my baby, laughing until we couldn’t breathe, over absolutely nothing. 
sometimes i think these are the moments that make motherhood so beautiful. not the big milestones, but the little unexpected memories that you know you’ll carry in your heart for the rest of your life. i hope one day he remembers how much fun we had together, because i know i’ll never forget it.
