Sometimes it feels like I don’t have much family support, but then I’m reminded that I have people in my life who love me and my baby, and they do what they can to show up and give support even in small ways. I’m an only child so my baby doesn’t have aunts or uncles on my side. My mom and my grandma are around though and I can always call on them, even if it’s just to talk or vent. My dad lives a few states away but he flew out just recently and got to meet my little one for the first time. It was so nice getting to spend quality time together. I have to remind myself that I’m fortunate to have family. Even if it’s small, we love each other and that’s all that matters. MotherhoodSupportMatters

I know not everyone has someone they can count on. & sometimes I have to remind myself how lucky I am that I do.

I am also an only child with a dad who lives a few states away!! It’s amazing how your family shows up for you! Even a small vent sesh can make a huge difference

What a coincidence! Seriously though, I just need to vent sometimes and it makes me feel so much better. It’s like a reset button.
