My grandparents have been in town from out of state. It has been such a blessing to have them here! My daughter absolutely adores them! This has given me the chance to leave the room to take care of things around the house without worrying about watching my daughter. I was able to get things done so quickly. It was so nice to have a little break! Not to mention they spoiled her! They got her some new outfits and toys. I love my grandparents so much!! I really wish they lived closer! Here she is pictured in her new outfit, sunglasses, and stuffed pink bunny! They had the ears embroidered with her name and birthdate
Too adorable! I’m so glad you got to spend time with your grandparents being around family that you don’t get to see very often is so special because you really take in that time and enjoy it as much as you can.

Me too! They are my favorite family to be around. They’ve been there for me through so much over the years and have always been so accepting. They’ve were the first in my family to accept my husband despite his troublesome past (he’s a totally different person for the better now). They are such loving people! They just left this morning, and I miss them already!

Thank you!! She is crazy about them! She kept giving them hugs and it was just the sweetest thing! She’s usually very standoffish about other people touching her, and she’s only seen them in person once before! I make sure to do FaceTime with my grandparents often so she knows them

We try to go visit them once a year and they visit us once a year. We’re going to make a trip down to Texas in October for my birthday. It should be a lot of fun because we’re going to take my daughter to the Houston zoo, which is massive. It will be her first time at a zoo, and she loves animals!

How awesome she will LOVE the zoo. We have a small one about 45 min away and my kids love going. We went to the Columbus zoo while we were working in Ohio when my oldest was almost a year old and she LOVED it! It was such an amazing zoo whenever we go on a trip I always look to see if they have a zoo we can take them too

My mom spoils my son as well it’s pretty darn hilarious actually hahaha I wish my son would let other people hold him right now though !! I leave the room and he freaks

I think that’s pretty normal at his age. I couldn’t leave my daughter’s side without her freaking out until probably around a year old…when she started walking basically. She gained so much independence when she started walking, and I guess she was more interested in exploring. She’d whine for me after a few minutes though, and still does

My oldest did this because she was used to it just being us while we were traveling for work and when we got home she had to adjust to everyone being around even though she FaceTimed them all the time and knew who they were. It didn’t last too long though so hopefully it won’t for your son as well

I love this so much! Having extra hands around the house is awesomeeeeee, especially when they’re spoiling her with so much love! That embroidered bunny is the sweetest, most thoughtful gift. Enjoy that well deserved break, mama! Also, I love those sunglasses 
kids’ sunglasses fit my small face so if she ever outgrows them you can just send them to me lol.

It really was so nice to not have to worry about my daughter for once. It’s so rare I get that kind of opportunity! The bunny is just the cutest thing and it’s soooo soft! I hope it becomes her new favorite! I’ll let you know if the sunglasses survive!
