Do you have a Go Bag? What I mean is, do you have a bag packed and ready to go in case of emergencies? It has been so helpful to have a go bag ready because I tend to panic when my daughter needs emergency care. The last thing I’m doing is thinking clearly enough to make sure I have everything I need in my diaper bag for possibly a few days in the emergency room. My go bag gives me peace of mind. I make sure it stays in the car at all times. Here is what my husband and I have packed in my go bag:
2 days worth of diapers
Wipes
Diaper cream
4 outfits including one shirt (weather appropriate)
I didn’t think of how much you would have to pack with a go bag for multiple kids. You might need to pack a small suitcase! I know that sounds like a lot, but you would always be prepared. It would also allow you to carry a smaller diaper bag for your youngest, as long as you restock the go bag as needed.
That is so smart. This would have been a game changer for me when my oldest son got injured or sick. The amount of times we have been to the hospital I usually have a diaper bag, but it just has the basics. And have to run around grabbing everything I need. I’ll have to look into a bag that can fit everything now. I do use the Momcozy neck pillow case for spare clothes which is an easy grab
