Life as a mom looks very different for me now compared to when I had my first child. I have three kids, almost 5, 3, and a 9 month old baby. When my toddler was born in the Philippines, I had so much help from family and friends. I didn’t even have to ask. Someone was always there to lend a hand, hold the baby, or simply keep me company. That kind of support made the early days of motherhood feel a little lighter.
Now that we are living in the U.S.,I am simply tired. Things feel very different and sometimes a little lonely. Most days it is just me taking care of the baby and two energetic kids. Some days are chaotic and exhausting, but they are also full of love and little moments that make everything worth it.
I am grateful for my children every single day. Even when motherhood feels overwhelming, their hugs, smiles, and laughter remind me that this journey, with all its ups and downs, is still one of the greatest blessings in my life.
