I wish I knew

I really wish I knew that those first 6 weeks of breastfeeding are crucial to making it any further.. with my first two I always gave up so soon cause it was so painful and I just thought that was normal and probably why moms gave up… with my third I learned that if you can make it through those first weeks of painful let downs engorgement and leaking it gets SOOOOOmuch better. 7 months now going strong and no more pain involved with breastfeeding. I wish someone had gave me this advice earlier on in my journies  I’m so glad I know now!

7 months is amazing, congratulations! :baby_bottle: Those first 6 weeks are definitely the hardest hurdle, and it’s so true how much smoother it gets once you win the battle against the initial pain and engorgement. :heart_hands:

Yes!! The first few weeks were so painful for my first journey. My second I knew about hydrogel pads and silver nursing cups which helps tremendously!

Congratulations on 7 months!! That’s incredible!!

Wow 7 months! Good job mama! I wish they educated mamas more. It’s so hard when you are first learning. Having a correct latch and knowing what to expect makes a huge difference

If it starts to dip you can power pump or cluster pump to help your supply

What is cluster pumping? I know about power pumping never heard of cluster?
